The source material for these drawings comes from figures in the news, or in the streets, or in the museums. Some, like the Sackler family, have committed crimes that go unpunished. Others, like the ”unlikely pair” of attorneys accused of firebombing an empty NYPD van received harsher treatment. The drawings document a process of searching for essential elements, details that draw out revelations and insights; calls to action.
